Birchtrade launched in Spring 2015 with our core product, the DISKTRASA, a simple sponge product that is not only functional, but also good looking. My heart is rooted in family and the idea that great design should permeate throughout life, especially at the kitchen sink. We provides simple design products that are affordable, long-lasting, and ergonomic.
The inspiration came after I was transplanted from NYC to a small island right outside Stockholm, Sweden. With my little girl as my companion for countless hours of cleaning up in the kitchen, the idea for Birchtrade was born. Cleaning up became fun with my beautiful DISKTRASA to help me clean through our travels.
We divide our time between Sweden, New York, and Los Angeles and are constantly inspired by the innovations in ecologically sustainable products in America and abroad. We want to be the brand you rely on for safe, sustainable home goods.
